You’ve grown from intern to engineer, how has your mindset evolved as you've taken on bigger challenges at Arm?

When I was an intern, I focused on execution, but as I've grown and Arm continues to evolve, I've shifted my thinking from delivery to thinking about impact and long-term value creation. 

I now think about how to design reusable solutions, improve processes, and contribute to the bigger picture.  One project I’m proud of involved rethinking how our test bench rendering was done. I developed a parallelized workflow that cut down the time to execution time by 40%, and that is still used daily by more than 120 engineers. 

That idea started during my graduate year, I was given space to explore it through existing resources at Arm, ChatGPT and bouncing ideas with manager on use cases and how it should work. I went on to test it, and eventually implement it at scale. I’ve learned that the real win isn’t finishing something - it’s creating something that makes life better for others.
