Arm Munich blends the energy of a technology hub with the character of Bavaria. Based in Aschheim, close to the Munich trade fairgrounds, the office sits in the state-of-the-art Heads building. Collaboration is at the heart of Arm’s culture. My manager and teammates are genuinely supportive, and I feel encouraged to take ownership while knowing I can rely on others when I need input or guidance.

English is the common language, but many speak German too, and we provide language training to help people integrate further. Shared lunches, Biergarten visits, and a strong social spirit are part of daily life. Knowledge-sharing events take place regularly, and popular excursions include skiing, hiking, and cycling in the nearby Alps. Resilience, endurance and team spirit drive us forward.

The Munich office is designed for flexibility, offering small breakout rooms for four to six people, five meeting rooms, phone booths, a multipurpose room and full accessibility.

Teams and expertise

In Munich, we develop the Keil MDK IDE suite, ULINK debug adapters, and the CMSIS software standard for microcontrollers. We build up expertise in automotive software as well. Alongside engineering, there is a dedicated automotive sales and marketing presence, reflecting the strength of Germany’s car industry. With AI at the heart of our mission, this expertise connects into Arm’s global innovation network.

Location and lifestyle

The office is a 25-minute trip by public transport from downtown Munich, with the Riem Arcaden mall just two bus stops away. Forest trails for lunchtime walks are on the doorstep, while the city’s cultural landmarks, from the Englischer Garten to Marienplatz and Schloss Nymphenburg, are within easy reach. For many, Oktoberfest is the highlight of the year, and we make sure to celebrate together.

Many of us enjoy spending time together outside work, and those informal moments help make collaboration smoother during office hours.

You can reach the Arm office in the Heads building in two ways. The back entrance, known as the Secret Garden, is opposite the parking garage; ring the doorbell and take the elevator to the 4th floor. Alternatively, enter via the main entrance, walk through the hall into the Secret Garden courtyard, then take the elevator up. If you need parking, let us know your license plate number in advance so we can register your vehicle.
