What’s something people might be surprised to learn about your day-to-day?
Most people assume I spend my entire day coding or debugging test benches, but that’s just part of it. A lot of my time is actually spent collaborating and communicating- syncing with cross-functional teams, communicating requirements clearly, mentoring junior team members.
The human element in engineering is bigger than most people expect, and collaborating effectively has become just as important as technical problem-solving. Over time, I’ve learned how to explain things better, depending on who I’m talking to. Different teams work differently, so you start to figure out how to get your point across and work together more smoothly.
