What does having a 10x mindset mean to you in your day-to-day work? How does it shape the way you approach engineering challenges?
The 10x mindset means moving quickly, testing new ideas, and letting go of ones that don’t deliver results. It’s about staying efficient, learning fast, and having the bravery to pivot when necessary.
When I work on prototype designs, I focus on finding the most effective path forward without getting stuck in sunk costs. The goal is always to maximize learning, iterate rapidly, and deliver meaningful technical progress. That mindset helps turn complex challenges into opportunities for acceleration and discovery.
If you could inspire the next generation of engineers at Arm, what would you tell them about dreaming big and building for impact?
A strong academic foundation is important, but it is only the starting point. What shapes a great engineer is the drive to learn more, stay curious, and put in the extra effort to go beyond what is expected.
Be open to exploring new technologies and experiment on real systems or through models and simulators. Those hands-on trials reveal how things truly work and often spark the insights that lead to better designs.
