What do you value most at Arm?
One of the things I value the most at Arm is the strong emphasis on teamwork, cooperation and knowledge sharing. This collaborative culture is crucial for efficiently delivering high-quality IPs. I work with engineers located across various Arm sites, including Lund (Sweden), Trondheim (Norway), Ra'anana (Israel), Cambridge, and Manchester (UK) on a daily basis. Embracing different ways of working together with this multicultural environment enriches our work, learning and broadens our perspectives.
In our Cambridge office, where I'm currently based, we have engineers from various countries, creating a diverse and engaging workplace. Common areas for socializing, like tea or coffee breaks, along with entertainment zones with arcade machines and foosball tables, make it easy to network and connect with other engineers and managers.
What career growth opportunities have you experienced throughout your journey at Arm so far?
My career at Arm began recently, but it's been incredibly fulfilling. I joined Arm because I wanted a technical career path where I could grow without having to shift to a purely managerial role. That’s possible in Arm! As product engineering lead I have the opportunity to contribute technically as well as enable and support other engineers in their careers. Arm stands out because it not only recognizes but highly appreciates the contributions of technical experts. Everyone here understands that these roles are crucial to delivering quality IPs efficiently.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Arm?
For those considering joining Arm, if you are a graduate, you have the opportunity to rotate onto other teams throughout the first years of joining. If you are experienced you can also benefit from rotating onto other roles and being exposed to them before committing. Either way, embrace the opportunities as in when they arrive. At Arm, you can be a manager driven by your passion for work and enabling others, or you can manage a team's work and deliverables within a project, requiring both technical and managerial skills. The variety of roles at Arm allows you to try different paths, and many employees return to technical roles after a stint in management.

I can choose to work from our Cambridge office, where I'm currently based, or from the comfort of my home office. This freedom to select my work environment allows me to be productive in the way that suits me best.
