Applications Engineering at Arm

At Arm, Application Engineers collaborate closely with our partners, addressing any technical inquiries related to the use of Arm IP in SoC development. This encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from software questions from the perspectives of Arm Architecture or implementing open-source software, developing programs, and debugging them through Arm Development Tools, to hardware and SoC design questions related to RTL development, Emulation, and silicon bring up. The team also works with Partners to deliver technical training and design reviews for Arm products either in the form of in-person training, Zoom-based virtual classrooms, or on-demand videos for self-paced learning.

Applications Engineers are formed into teams with different disciplines and focuses, including those dedicated to supporting Platforms, Graphics Processing Units, Machine Learning, CPUs and Processers, System Interconnect IP like Memory Management Controllers and Generic Interrupt Controllers, Architecture, and Software Development Tools just to name a few. Each team not only works to support their area of expertise but also collaborates closely across multiple disciplines to support the massively complex SoC environments we see today.
