Arm Shin-Yokohama

Urban and Innovative

Sat in the shadows of Mount Fuji, Arm Shin-Yokohama is driving sales forward, and with high-rise views of the city spanning around the whole office, it’s easy to see why our employees are always so relaxed and productive.

Office Culture

Here, we are a small and friendly team. With just over 30 employees on site, Arm Shin-Yokohama is very tight-knit.

Each quarter, our colleagues gather in the refreshment area for our QBB (Quarterly Beer Bash) to enjoy a variety of beers, soft drinks, and snacks.

Office Spaces

We enjoy a spacious office floor with enough workstations for everyone to be comfortable. You can work alone or in teams along the desks or breakout rooms, and if you need to relax, there are great 360 views of the nearby mountain ranges from our visitor area.

We have a communal space with a view of high-rises of Minato Mirai 21, a seaside urban area in central Yokohama, and also a small break room, named 'Kotatsu'.

Departments in the Office

The Shin-Yokohama office is dedicated to Open-Source Software support and Automotive GPU. This interesting pairing of departments make it a creative space to be and makes the office an exciting place to balance work and play.

Coming Together as a Team

Each colleague makes a great effort to implement Team Arm activity successfully, especially for a micorobit workshop held every summer for kids.

Development Opportunities

Our Shin-Yokohama office provides numerous opportunities for professional growth and development. Whether you're interested in technical advancements or management roles, we support our employees in carving out their unique career paths. With a focus on learning in the flow of work with support from team and mentors and tailored learning opportunities, we ensure that our team members thrive in their roles.

Office Amenities

Arm Shin-Yokohama provides great public links between Yokohama and Tokyo, but if you prefer to drive into work, there is also free parking located nearby for employees.

Our meeting rooms are named after sea creatures, such as 'Whale' for big conference rooms, 'Mermaid' and ’Dolphin' for medium rooms.

We have two vending machines at the reception area– one for freshly ground coffee for free, and another Team Arm Charity one with soft drinks for 80% cheaper than the retail price, donated to Japan Red Cross as one of our Team Arm activities.

Office Location and Local Spaces

There is so much to do and see in Shin-Yokohama! It’s a bustling city with so many bars, hotels, restaurants and shopping centres all within walking distance of the Arm office – there is something for everyone to enjoy during their free time. But if you’re in the mood for something a little different, Shin-Yokohama’s famous Ramen Museum is recommended to everyone!
