Your Ideas Matter as Much as Your Experience

At Arm, we look for future interns and graduate who value curiosity, initiative, and a growth mindset just as much as technical knowledge. We’re looking for people who can collaborate, solve problems creatively, and bring fresh ideas to the table, all whilst learning.

"When we review applications we're not just looking for technical skills. We're looking for potential, passion and a growth mindset. Tell us how you've tackled challenges, collaborated with others, or stepped outside your comfort zone. That's why the 10x Mindset is all about thinking bigger, learning faster and making an impact together."

Sophie So, Senior Emerging Talent Acquisition Specialist

Tips to make your application stand out

  • Highlight the impact of your technical skills, using real examples and measurable outcomes where possible.
  • Share project experience that demonstrates collaboration, problem-solving, and initiative.
  • Tailor your CV using active, precise language (e.g. designed, built, improved).
  • Include relevant coursework, certifications, hackathons, or personal projects that showcase your skills and interest in technology.
  • Make sure your application is clear and concise.
  • Soft skills matter too. Share examples of teamwork, communication, resilience, and continuous learning.

"A successful strategy for most projects involves working in short iterations and frequently testing your solutions to identify issues early. Aim to be practical in your approach, but remain curious about the background, theory and reasoning behind your tasks."

Ioana Ghiban, Software Engineer, former Graduate Engineer
