Office Culture 

Arm Chandler thrives on collaboration. With a relatively small team, everyone contributes to various aspects of office life, whether it's chasing down equipment or folding the ping pong tables for a meeting. The sociable atmosphere ensures that everyone knows each other, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.  

The office’s size fosters a strong sense of teamwork, making it easy to organize site-wide socials. Our annual picnic, complete with barbecuing and team-building games, is a highlight. We also celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving and Diwali with potlucks, where team members share food from their cultures.

Office Spaces 

The recently renovated Chandler office features an open layout with plenty of spaces for collaboration, encouraging teamwork and spontaneous meetings. We also offer a dedicated quiet room for meditation, relaxation, and prayer.  

During leisure times, employees can unwind in the spacious breakout room, which includes ping pong tables, shuffleboard, sofas, kitchen facilities, and tables with stunning mountain views. 

Departments in the Office 

The Chandler team is diverse, with the largest group being the CPU team, developing CPU IP for IoT, Automotive, Client, and other markets. The office also houses members from the Systems IP, Central Technology, and Business Development teams. Recently, the Solutions Engineering team has expanded, establishing a fully functional lab for post-silicon characterization. This combination of departments creates a dynamic and innovative workspace. 

Coming Together as a Team 

Collaboration is the cornerstone of Chandler's culture. The team actively participates in Team Arm, organizing various volunteering and fundraising events to support the local community. Arm believes that a highly connected team produces better quality products. 

Development Opportunities 

Our Chandler office provides numerous opportunities for professional growth and development. Some groups in Chandler offer a "graduate rotation program" to allow all newly joined graduate engineers to participate in 3 separate engineering rotations during their first year of employment, allowing significant opportunities to learn, grow, and sample multiple engineering areas of development. 

We also offer regular "donut sessions" at least once a month to offer sharing & learning with other team members. 

Office Amenities 

Arm Chandler prioritizes employee well-being with a range of amenities, including covered parking and electric car charging points.  

The office, recently expanded to accommodate our growing team, features over 16 conference rooms, a quiet room, and a parent's room. Sustainability initiatives include smart energy lighting and the elimination of single-use plastics. 

Office Location and Local Spaces 

Located in a low-rise area, the Chandler 5th floor office offers breathtaking views of the valley and the San Tan mountains. The Arizona monsoon season brings spectacular dust storms and, occasionally, lightning and rain, offering unique experiences for the team.  

Chandler has an extensive canal system with pathways ideal for walking, jogging, or biking, often used by employees for lunchtime picnics or commuting.  

The area also boasts parks, bars, restaurants, and the nearby Chandler Village shopping center, providing plenty of activities and conveniences.

The Arizona valley (which includes Chandler as a suburb) has a relatively modest cost of living compared to other tech cities (such as San Jose or Austin), has quick 15-20 minute access to the airport, and has a well-supported road system with less traffic than other major cities.   Most team members' commute is 15 minutes or less.
