We are looking for university students with an interest in graphics processors, demos, game programming, improving infrastructure, prototyping, problem-solving and alike - our interns are part of crafting the next generation of Arm GPU technology!
In 2006 Arm acquired Falanx, a small Norwegian start-up developing Graphics Processing Units. The team now counts 200 employees from more than 30 different nationalities. Based in Trondheim, Norway’s spectacular technological capital, you can enjoy hiking, skiing, and fjord trips while developing Mali, the world’s most shipped GPU.

This internship begins in June 2026 for approximately 10 weeks.
What you could be doing as a Performance Analysis Intern?
An intern on the performance analysis team will work with a vast array of technology such as:
- Graphics processors
- Content and performance analysis of benchmarks and games, along with demo/benchmark creation
- Improving internal infrastructure (Linux/Android/Python) while engaging with software and hardware processes and workflows
We are looking for individuals who:
Are currently enrolled and studying towards an Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.
- A keen curiosity about processors and digital systems
- Understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts
- Desire to learn more about graphics processors and content
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Understanding of graphics APIs such as OpenGLES or Vulkan
- Familiarity with Linux/Android and version control systems
