The GPU engineering organization in Arm produces GPU hardware and software for mobile and embedded devices. Our Mali™ Graphics Processor is the most shipped GPU globally and at GPU engineering you will work alongside some of the best engineers in the world making world-leading media products.
This position is with the PPA (Power, Performance, Area) team in Trondheim. This team acts as a sophisticated internal user of our products with the mission to measure the performance and energy efficiency for a variety of content and analyze the performance to improve the products and allow them to reach their maximum performance potential as well as shape the design of future GPU generations.

What you could be doing as a Graduate:
- Analyzing GPU performance and power consumption data and determining improvement ideas in either SW, HW or API level, and communicating performance analysis results within the organization
- Improving methodologies and tools for handling GPU content and performance data and improving PPA measurement and analysis methodologies
- Writing scripts for PPA data measurements and visualization while measuring performance of GPU workloads for various content
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold (or are on track to hold) a Masters or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Physics or a related field by the programme start date
- Practical, organized and analytical approach to work and an ability to understand sophisticated, abstract problems, and interest in continual learning
- Experience in modern 3D graphics technology and standards such as Vulkan, OpenGL ES and/or DirectX
- Programming skills in Python, C, and C++
- Knowledge of standard Linux tools, shell, and version control systems such as Git
