Whatyou could be doing as a Graduate?
As a Graduate Hardware Engineer, you'll join one of our GPU hardware teams in design, verification, or implementation.
- Design work encompasses exploring the design space for our upcoming GPU features and improving power, performance and area metrics.
- A verification role aims at testing the GPU in any possible scenario, for quality assurance.
- The implementation team is responsible for finding an optimal way to place and connect the GPU building blocks onto a single piece of silicon, while meeting timing, area and power requirements.
Our graduates will follow a structured learning journey, building expertise in graphics, GPU architecture, and hardware engineering skills.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold (or are on track to hold) a degree by the programme start date. This can be a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant subjects. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.
- Enjoy coding and have experience with at least one programming language.
- Are motivated to learn, solve technical challenges, and contribute to innovative technologies.
- Work well in collaborative environments and enjoy sharing ideas with others.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- A keen interest in processors, with a good understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts
- Experience with hardware design and Hardware Description Languages like SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL and Chisel
- Familiarity with hardware verification using formal verification environments or simulation based checking
- Synthesis of register transfer level code for FPGAs or standard cells
- Experience with Linux, Git and continuous integration

In Return:
You’ll receive a starting salary of NOK 695,000 (Bachelor level) or NOK 715,000 (Master level) annually, alongside a comprehensive rewards package. As you develop in role, you’ll have clear opportunities to progress within the salary range at Arm. With mid-year and year-end reviews, you’ll have two formal progression windows each year, recognising your growth.
