Arm’s Solution Engineering team is thrilled to be rapidly growing our SoC verification presence in Toronto. New team members will join a multifaceted group of engineers in Toronto and collaborate closely with our global RTL design and verification teams across the UK, US, France, and Hungary to help build world-class SoCs.

Would you like to play a key role in defining the solution growth story in Arm?
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to robust SoC design verification with expertise in SoC integration, use-case analysis, performance evaluation, low-power verification, and peripheral integration (PCIe/CXL, DDRx/LPDDRx).
- Review architecture and design specifications and define the functional verification strategy.
- Develop verification test plans and implement UVM/SystemVerilog/Verilog testbenches and tests.
- Debug and resolve complex functional verification issues.
- Enhance and maintain verification methodologies and standard processes within the team.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams on microarchitecture, performance, and related design aspects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Assist Project Management with planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities.
- Drive sign-off for key project landmarks, ensuring required quality, alignment to timelines, and effective collaboration across teams from Architecture through Physical Design.
Required Skills and Experience:
In addition to bringing your accomplishment of either Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering (or similar field) over 18+ years of experience working in design or verification of sophisticated compute subsystems or SoCs, you will need:
- Strong understanding of digital hardware design principles and Verilog HDL.
- In-depth knowledge of modern verification methodologies for complex SoC development, including hardware–software co-verification techniques.
- Proven expertise in verifying subsystems such as PCIe/CXL, DDRx/LPDDRx, and HBM.
- Solid expertise in creating, executing, and tracking detailed verification test plans.
- Demonstrated experience in RTL verification for large-scale SoC projects.
- Proficiency in low-level programming languages, including C and Assembly.
- Experience with SystemVerilog and industry-standard verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM, and e.
- Experience leading domain-level or SoC-level design verification across multiple projects, demonstrating strong hands-on capability, influence, and negotiation skills.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Arm-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures
- Experience or knowledge in the following areas
- Formal verification techniques, Clock domain crossing verification, Experience with Perl, Python or other scripting language.
- Development and deployment of complex Arm SoCs on multiple Emulation platforms as well as direct hands-on test bench development.

Salary Range:
$121,600-$164,600 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
