We are looking for an engineer to develop automation tools and flows in the field of SOC design and verification. This resource engineer will be part of a global software team spread across multiple sites supporting customers at a global level.
The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to get experience working with state of the art software development tools, latest EDA tools and cutting edge chip technology.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, testing, and deploying of features in existing or new flows/tools
- Marinating existing code base
- Working with customers and with the team members to come up with new ideas
Required Skills/Experiences:
- Masters/Bachelors degree with 8+ years of experience in Computer Science/Engineering, or in Electrical Engineering with specialization in software development.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java or C/C++ and scripting skills (Perl, TCL, Bash or similar scripting languages) using standard GNU/Linux tool chain
- Domain knowledge of SoC/ASIC RTL design and functional verification tools (e.g. Modelsim) & flows
- Proficiency in software engineer tools/practices: version control e.g. using git or subversion, automated testing e.g., using Jenkin.
- Proficiency in problem solving and debugging skills
Nice to have skills
- Experience/knowledge of cloud computing and services e.g. AWS.
- Good understanding of data-structures and algorithms
- Knowledge of PHP, Yaml
- Experience with UI web framework and databases
