Job Overview:

Arm is seeking a Manager for IP and OEM Sales to lead its strategic sales and business development initiatives, pivotal in driving Arm’s market penetration in the rapidly growing segments of Automotive and Infrastructure, by building and maintaining positive relationships with key Silicon Partners, OEMs, Startups and technology partners.

As an experienced sales leader, you will drive the strategy with these partners, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams to create tailored solutions for the IP and OEM ecosystems under your responsibility. You will be instrumental in establishing Arm as a dominant player, unlocking new revenue streams, and driving long-term strategic partnerships, with focus on the new players and disruptive technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Drive a comprehensive global sales strategy for Arm’s products, driving revenue growth and market adoption across IP and OEM accounts as well, key partnerships
  • Account Management: Lead and direct Arm’s relationship with major accounts and startups. Build and drive long-term, strategic relationships that result in sales opportunities, growth, and deep integration of Arm-based solutions.
  • Market Penetration & Growth: Identify and target new business opportunities in the OEM markets, making Arm the platform of choice for next-generation solutions. Collaborate with partners to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and accelerate adoption.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Arm’s engineering, product management, marketing, and technical teams to define and communicate the value proposition of Arm’s technologies. Facilitate smooth teamwork to accelerate sales and resolve any technical or business challenges.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Engage with executive leadership at accounts to understand their strategic priorities, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure success. Represent Arm in high-stakes discussions and assure our partner's needs are met successfully.
  • Forecasting & Performance Metrics: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports to executive management, detailing progress toward targets, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Implement and refine metrics to ensure efficient and consistent performance.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed on the latest trends of the market, including new technologies, threats, and customer demands. Use this knowledge to set sales strategies and to position Arm as a leader in the market.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Experience: demonstrated ability in sales roles within the Semiconductors (Automotive or Infrastructure) OEMs and Startups market.
  • OEM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Automotive or Infrastructure ecosystem. For example, for automotive, clear understanding of trends in ADAS, autonomous driving, electric vehicles, and infotainment systems. For Infrastructure, clear understanding of trends in AI-centric design, cloud-edge fusion, sustainability, next-gen connectivity, zero-trust security, and software-defined modularity, as well including key players, market trends, and the technical requirements in this sector.
  • Strong existing professional network and relationships within automotive or infrastructure OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key industry partners.
  • Business Development: Proven track record developing and implementing sales strategies and activity that drive significant business growth with the IP and the Semiconductor Market.
  • Strong Social Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, drive effectively with executive partners, both internally and externally.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Global Perspective: Experience working in global markets, with the ability to navigate cultural and business differences across regions. Experience with international sales.
  • An MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

Salary Range:

$148,800-$201,300 per year
