The GPU software architecture team are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer or architect to join our team. You will be working across the organization to set the direction of our widely used product in the areas of graphics, driver and firmware performance.
Through performance analysis and requirements gathering, feature design and technical expertise you will guide the work of a large SW engineering team with potential to influence the wider organisation and GPU product.
You will be working with multi-disciplined engineering teams across Arm’s worldwide engineering centres, as part of a multi-site team.
What you will be involved with:
Working with a diverse set of architects you will be responsible for analysing the software architecture for the GPU, comprising the driver and firmware. The analyses will involve studying the existing design and looking for improvement opportunities in the software architecture as well as identifying opportunities in the HW that would benefit the software architecture and the GPU product. Potential areas of concern will range from the Khronos graphics API implementations, firmware and system integration aspects.
You will provide technical leadership to our agile teams where you guide the teams in the technologies you help to define. Plus you will work closely with wider teams in GPU( HW, Technology Research etc ), partners and customers.
We have an excellent track record of building up expertise in people, so this is a great opportunity to learn something new and interesting in a friendly and collaborative environment. Join a multinational, dynamic and highly motivated software development group where you will enjoy the support of your colleagues while being challenged by interesting technical problems.
