Job Overview:
The GPU System Security team is responsible for securing Arm's GPU technologies. We assure the GPU product development embeds security in all product development lifecycle, and we are responsible for GPU's products cybersecurity certification and mandated regulations!
Work alongside experienced security engineers to secure GPU products supporting Mali™ and Immortalis™ GPUs used in millions of devices worldwide. If you're passionate about security and solving technical challenges, you'll help secure GPU technologies that enable graphics workloads worldwide from mobile phones, tablets, digital appliances, automotive and till physical AI!
What you could be doing as a Graduate Security Engineer:
Collaborating with skilled and encouraging engineers from various engineering groups, you will help securing GPU products and assure their security accreditation and regulation requirements. As you gain experience, you will dynamically assume responsibility for domains and security activities while still learning from seasoned mentors.
Our work may include:
- Drive secure development lifecycle activities, certifications, audits, security evaluations, and supporting compliance artifacts.
- Translate global cybersecurity regulations and standards into actionable technical requirements and engineering rules.
- Apply secure-by-design principles and security hardening across SW, FW, HW, and systems from concept through deployment.
- Develop security tools, automation, and AI workflows; support penetration testing and collaborate with engineering teams on findings and mitigations.
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold (or are on track to hold) a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject area. If graduated, no earlier than 2025. Candidates with equivalent experience are welcome. Maintain a strong academic record. You'll also possess:
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance, standards, security documentation, requirements, policies, and SDL processes.
- Proficiency in RTL or C/C++, with experience in embedded Linux and/or RTOS environments.
- Hands-on coding and automation skills, including building scripts, security tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Strong technical reporting, English communication, multi-functional collaboration, independent working, and continuous-learning skills.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Security Certifications: Credentials highlighting technical security mastery.
- Practical expertise with Threat Modeling, Risk Assessment, and HW/SW security guidelines.
- Practical experience in offensive security, vulnerability research, or low-level systems security.
- Good understanding of modern SoC architectures, understanding of hardware–software interactions and how security properties are implemented across system layers.
