Arm GPUs power billions of devices globally, enabling innovative graphics and gaming experiences. Our fast growing family in Ra’anana is developing a DirectX driver to support the latest Mali GPUs on Windows.
We are seeking motivated and extra-ordinary developers to be part of our DirectX project. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of a new driver stack from the ground up. The Ra’anana site is one of a growing software organization within Arm, offering an inclusive and collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning.
What you could be doing as a DirectX Intern Developer?
We are hiring for various roles, from close to the hardware kernel driver implementation to system-wide validation, tooling, and infrastructure. Based on your technical background and interests, you will join one of the following tracks:
KMD Team Intern
Join the Kernel Mode Driver team to work on low-level driver components. This includes memory management, command submission, and scheduling logic - all interfacing closely with the Windows kernel and GPU hardware.This internship is phenomenal for people who enjoy operating systems, performance-critical code, and hardware/software integration!
System Team Intern
Join the System team to focus on platform integration and development of system infrastructure and automation capabilities. We are supporting HLK/WHQL certification processes and contributing to continuous integration and system-level bring-up.This role suits students who enjoy problem-solving across multiple system layers and building scalable test environments!
We are looking for individuals who:
Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Students from other fields with strong relevant experience are also welcomed.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Proficiency in programming (preferably C++)
- Understanding of computer architecture and/or operating systems
- Hands-on curiosity demonstrated through personal projects, hackathons, or internships
