We have an excellent opportunity for a Software Intern to join our experienced agile Tools & Infrastructure team in Lund, Sweden. This internship begins in June 2025 for approximately 10 weeks. We are seeking an intern to help us continue improving our test infrastructure. This is a chance to join a multinational, highly motivated, and diverse team. We are part of the wider cross-site GPU System Test team that is responsible for verification of the advanced Mali™ GPU driver for Graphic APIs (Open GL/ES and Vulkan). Automation is the key to success for our team.
Our tools are primarily developed in Python and often web based with the help of frameworks such as Flask and Django. Much of the infrastructure is deployed in AWS using Terraform, and many of the tools run in a Kubernetes cluster.
What you could be doing as an Intern?
The successful applicant will do development work of our infrastructure and in-house tools built to facilitate test management, test result triaging and test execution. The work involves developing new features making an impact on the entire GPU organisation. We appreciate creativity and always aim to give interns possibility to explore many technologies. The work will be done in our Lund office where interns from multiple teams will sit together, creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere.
Some previous intern projects are:
- Building a Django based web UI / database for our existing test automation framework.
- Extending and improving the web UI from above with monitoring views for administrative insights into the test automation.
- Building a test submission optimizer to optimize the usage of test automation resources.
- Crafting a new asynchronous and scalable bisection flow.
- Building a graph tool for working with GPU performance data.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Study towards a degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics or other equivalent program.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- High-level programming (Python preferred).
- Web development (HTML, CSS and Javascript).
- Linux development environments and shell scripting.
- Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, hackathons, or internships etc.
- Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems.
