Put programming skills to work on real hardware challenges! At Arm, we’re looking for graduates who enjoy writing code, understanding how digital systems work and investigating unexpected behaviour.
Our hardware verification team helps find design problems before they reach silicon. We work on neural accelerators for machine learning applications, combining software development with a detailed understanding of the hardware being tested.
Whatyou could be doing as a Graduate?
Working with verification and design engineers across our international design centres, the role involves turning specifications into tests, developing simulation testbenches and investigating failures. We analyse coverage data to identify behaviour that still needs testing, then extend and refine our tests to explore it.
We also build tools and automation to improve our verification flows. Learning new techniques, trying out ideas and sharing what works are part of how we develop both our hardware and our ways of working.
We are looking for individuals who:
Applicants should hold, or be on track to hold, a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field by the programme start date.
- Enjoy programming and writing clear, reliable code.
- Are curious about digital hardware and keen to learn how to verify it.
- Enjoy investigating problems and working out how complex systems behave.
- Can explain ideas and findings clearly, in writing and in discussions with colleagues.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
Experience from coursework, university projects or personal projects in the following areas would be useful:
- Digital hardware and a hardware description language.
- Object-oriented programming and software frameworks.
- Computer architecture.
Additional Information:
We encourage early applications as we review them on a first-come, first-served basis. Please provide an academic transcript along with your application.
Relocation support is available for domestic moves within the country and regional moves within Europe. Visa sponsorship support is also available for candidates who require it.
In Return:
You’ll receive a starting salary of SEK 545,000 (Bachelor level) or SEK 555,000 (Master level), alongside a comprehensive rewards package. As you develop in role, you’ll have clear opportunities to progress within the salary range at Arm. With mid-year and year-end reviews, you’ll have two formal progression windows each year, recognising your growth.
You can also attend our “Grad-teach-Grads” workshops, guest speaker series, and social events to expand your knowledge. If you’d like to get more involved, you can join the Graduate Committee to further develop your planning, networking, and coordination skills.
You’ll be invited to our Global Graduate Conference (GGC) — an annual event where graduates hear from executive leaders, guest speakers, and build lasting connections.
With many of our leaders and technical specialists having originally joined as a Graduate, will you be next?
