We have a fantastic opportunity to move into Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, key technologies for the future of computing. Working on innovative Arm IP, crafting technology that powers the next generation of mobile apps, portable devices, home automation, smart cities, self-driving cars, and much more!
Arm is entering a new growth phase to develop innovative technologies and products for existing and new markets. We need hardworking and motivated people to join our team. Working with the world’s best companies as they build sector-leading products from our inventions, you’ll share ideas with and learn new skills from top engineers globally. We work in small teams, so your contributions will make a difference. This role offers the opportunity to lead, challenge the status quo, and ultimately change the world of ML and AI!
What you might be working on as a Graduate?
Our next generation NPU development begins on the HW modelling platform. As a graduate HW Modelling engineer, you will develop and build new features and assess their performance. You will collaborate closely with the ML HW design and verification teams, contributing to the architecture, specification, and verification of the product. You will also support the compiler team to ensure the HW runs efficiently and help maintain the model as an external deliverable in customer engagements.
In the role of a Graduate Engineer, you are responsible for delivering well-tested, high-quality code for ML hardware modelling projects and will work together with hardware design and verification teams to debug problems and assist development.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold (or are on track to hold) a degree by the programme start date. This can be a Master’s or PhD degree in Machine learning, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar technical field.
- Strong analytical skills, eagerness to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Enjoy working in an environment where you cooperate closely in a diverse team of colleagues, striving together to reach common targets.
- Genuine interest and strong skills in programming (preferably C, C++).
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Source control skills (Git, Gerrit, Repo).
- Understanding of SystemC and HLS flows.
- Understanding of HW build and/or modelling.
- Knowledge of agile SW development methods.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning applications and frameworks.
- Understanding of signal processing and control systems.
Additional Information:
We encourage early applications as we review them on a first come/first served basis. Please provide an academic transcript as part of your application.
Please note that relocation support is available for this role for domestic moves within the country and regional moves within Europe. Visa sponsorship support is also available for candidates who require it.

As you develop in role, you’ll have clear opportunities to progress within the salary range at Arm. With mid-year and year-end reviews, you’ll have two formal progression windows each year, recognising your growth.
You can also attend our “Grad-teach-Grads” workshops, guest speaker series, and social events to expand your knowledge. If you’d like to get more involved, you can join the Graduate Committee to further develop your planning, networking, and coordination skills.
You’ll be invited to our Global Graduate Conference (GGC) — an annual event where graduates hear from executive leaders, guest speakers, and build lasting connections.
With many of our leaders and technical specialists having originally joined as a Graduate, will you be next?
