Responsibilities

  • Implement Arm solutions through the physical design flow, from RTL to GDSII, including synthesis, floorplanning, place and route, static timing analysis, power analysis and physical verification.
  • Optimise designs for power, performance and area as needed.
  • Collaborate with design teams to influence system microarchitecture and implementation quality.
  • Support chip design partners with their physical implementation work.
  • Develop and deploy silicon implementation techniques and methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience integrating large systems on chip (SoCs), with knowledge of power and physical architecture and design for test.
  • Understanding of synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, constraint development and timing closure, alongside knowledge of Verilog or SystemVerilog and experience writing and validating UPF.
