Job Description
Are you passionate about digital hardware verification? This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge Arm IP, helping craft technology that powers the next generation of mobile apps, portable devices, home automation, smart cities, self-driving cars—and more!
This role sits within Arm’s Solutions Engineering team, which drives the specification, RTL design, and verification of advanced compute subsystems for Arm-based SoCs. As part of this group, you’ll collaborate closely with design engineers who deliver low-power, high-speed, area-efficient architectures, ensuring that verification strategies maintain the highest quality and robustness. The team’s scope extends to leadership in methodology improvement, functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508), and scalable silicon solutions across automotive and complex ASIC products—giving this role both technical depth and strategic impact.
Responsibilities
Joining our growing and versatile team, you’ll contribute to the development and verification of industry-leading hardware designs. Collaborating with experts across global design centers, you’ll drive impactful projects and help deliver Arm’s next-generation IP using the most sophisticated tools and methodologies.
As a verification engineer, you will make a difference by:
- Influencing the verification strategy and methodology.
- Taking ownership of complex work packages and driving them to success.
- Working closely with design teams to validate subsystem functionality, performance, and safety-critical robustness.
Required Skills and Experience
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality verification that minimizes bug escapes.
- Proven experience in block-level verification using UVM or similar methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of coverage-driven verification for complex designs.
- Proficient in specifying, creating, and debugging SystemVerilog/UVM constrained-random testbenches.
- Skilled in planning verification tasks and producing realistic effort and time estimates.
- Experience in embedded C-based SoC verification environments would be helpful.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience in working with requirements definition and management with Formal verification experience.
- Proficiency in developing C/C++ models of a microarchitecture.
- Familiarity with Arm architecture and AMBA bus protocols.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508) in automotive or complex ASIC products.
