Job Overview:
The Mali™ GPU Software Architects team is looking for a versatile GPU compute driver architect.
Through performance analysis, feature design and technical expertise, you will set the direction of SW engineering to reach optimal driver, GPU and firmware performance for popular compute and ML APIs such as OpenCL, thereby shaping the future of the Mali GPU products. For this task, you will be working with cross-site, multi-disciplined, teams across Arm’s worldwide engineering centres.
Responsibilities:
Working within a diverse group of architects, you will be responsible for devising the high-level implementation designs for new compute- or ML-related features, for optimal performance and ecosystem impact. Your remit also includes studying the existing implementation, looking for improvement opportunities, as well as seeking opportunities for future HW iterations. You will be working closely with R&D, HW teams, lead partners, and customers, as well as providing technical leadership to your engineering teams. Required Skills and Experience :
- Strong background in GPU SW architecture, requirements analysis, and software architecture definition
- Strong background in graphics and/or ML APIs such as Vulkan, OpenCL, TOSA, TensorFlow.
- Have a proactive, analytical and hands-on approach to work.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience of Arm CPU and/or Mali GPU architectures.
- Experience of embedded systems or firmware development.
- Experience of presenting information to a wide, international, audience.
- Experience of holistic software optimisation from bare-metal to high-level.
- Experience of development in a Linux, Android or similar environments.
