Job Overview

Interested in working with some of the world's most advanced GPU technologies and helping make them even better?

We are looking for an Engineering Quality Manager to join our Central Engineering Quality and Compliance team and work closely with Arm's GPU hardware and software teams to improve product quality and how we develop, deliver and maintain our products.

This role covers the GPU development lifecycle, from requirements and design to verification, integration, release and long-term maintenance. You'll work directly with engineers, review how things are done today, use engineering data to identify problems and help teams find better ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent quality oversight for GPU hardware and software development, identifying risks, reviewing engineering evidence and supporting product readiness decisions.
  • Facilitate engineering problem-solving, including quality circles, engineering review boards, defect analysis, root cause investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned.
  • Improve engineering and verification practices, working with teams across requirements, design, verification, software development and hardware/software integration to prevent problems and detect defects earlier.
  • Turn quality data into useful insights, analyzing hardware and software defects, errata, vulnerabilities, quality metrics and customer feedback to identify recurring problems and areas for improvement.
  • Find opportunities to simplify and improve engineering activities, introducing practical quality tools and sharing methods and lessons learned across Arm.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in engineering development, verification or quality, with an understanding of complex hardware or software products.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues, identify risks and use engineering data to support decisions.
  • An interest in improving engineering practices, with the curiosity to question how things work and explore alternatives.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with experienced engineers, discuss different views openly and build good working relationships.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience in any of the following areas would be useful, but is not essential:
  • Semiconductor IP, GPU architecture, graphics technologies, RTL/VLSI design or hardware/software integration.
  • Software development, verification, defect and vulnerability management, or cybersecurity.
  • Engineering standards, quality management systems, Functional Safety or Automotive Quality.
  • Quality metrics, data analytics, AI or automation tools.
  • You don't need to know everything on this list. We are interested in people with different engineering backgrounds who enjoy understanding how things work and finding ways to improve them.

In Return

We value curiosity, technical understanding and people who enjoy solving problems, asking questions and learning new things. There is plenty of opportunity to work across different engineering teams, explore new methods and tools, and contribute your own ideas.
