Job Overview
We are looking for Graduate Systems Engineers to join our Systems Engineering teams in Bristol. You'll help develop and verify key hardware technologies that support memory management, communication and AI processing within next-generation Arm-based SoCs.
About the Team
Our Systems Engineering teams develop technologies that enable complex computing systems to manage data, memory and communication efficiently. Engineers work across memory and interconnect technologies, System Memory Management Units (SMMUs) and AI Subsystems, contributing to the hardware that connects and supports different components within an SoC. You'll collaborate with specialists in hardware design, verification, architecture and performance analysis.
What you could be doing as a Graduate Systems Engineer:
- Contributing to the design and verification of system-level hardware, including memory management technologies, interconnect components and AI Subsystems.
- Developing simulations, tests and verification environments to validate hardware functionality, data movement and system behaviour!
- Investigating system-level issues and collaborating with design, verification and architecture engineers to improve functionality, performance and reliability.
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold, or be on track to complete by the programme start date, a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related technical subject. Other degree backgrounds with relevant technical experience are also welcome.
Qualities that will help your application stand out
Whilst we will support and develop you throughout the graduate programme, it will help if you bring:
- An interest in digital hardware and computer architecture, including an understanding of digital logic, RTL design or hardware verification!
- Knowledge of memory systems, memory management, cache coherency, interconnect technologies or AI/ML compute concepts
- Experience with programming, scripting or hardware description languages such as Python, C, C++, SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL.
- Relevant experience can come from university coursework, practical projects, internships or independent learning. You do not need to meet every desirable criterion to apply.
