Responsibilities:
- Support timing constraints development and validation for functional and test modes
- Perform timing analysis and closure at block/subsystem level
- Analyze setup and hold timing violations and work with Physical Design and Design teams for closure
- Support timing ECO generation, implementation, and validation
- Generate and review timing reports across different modes and corners
- Support timing signoff activities and debug timing/constraint issues
Required Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of STA fundamentals, including setup/hold, clocking, timing exceptions, and timing constraints
- Hands-on experience with STA tools such as PrimeTime or Tempus
- Basic understanding of Physical Design flow, including placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure
- Understanding of timing ECO techniques such as cell sizing, buffering, and Vt swaps
- Exposure to multi-mode multi-corner (MMMC) timing analysis
- Knowledge of advanced technology nodes is preferred
- Good scripting skills in TCL, Perl, or Python
- Good data analysis and debugging skills
- Ability to collaborate with Physical Design, RTL/Design, DFT, and Constraint teams
- 2–4 years of experience in Physical Implementation, STA, or Timing Signoff
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
