You will be working in a highly focused group within Arm's Solution Engineering team, where you will help with development of our next generation compute client and infrastructure SoCs and solutions using innovative technologies, methodologies and tools.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SoC technical lead to join our team in developing SoCs based on ARM technology. The candidate will be responsible for delivery of multitude of SOCs
The ideal candidate person will have demonstrated experience as a leader to influence and drive SOC teams. The candidate should have technical leadership along with ability and desire to be hands on in all phases of development.
- Lead the development of various SOC’s from concept to production
- Collaborate with multi-functional and geographically spread-out teams including software, architecture, and hardware teams to develop high-quality and timely execution.
- Work multi-functionally to define robust and scalable SOC methodology
- Work closely with Architecture, verification, physical design, validation and test teams to ensure that the chip meets the required performance and functional specifications
- Drive SoC microarchitecture for various subsystems including high performance compute cores, memory controllers, interconnects, peripherals etc., as well as for SOC.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize chip-level PPA.
Required Skills and Experience
- 15+ Years of experience in the design and development of SOCs, with a number of years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of SOC architectures, including processor cores, memory subsystems, interconnect networks and communication interfaces.
- Experience with chip design tools and industry-standard EDA tools
- Ability to meet aggressive targets without compromising on quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelors, Master’s or Ph.D. is Electrical or Computer Engineering or Equivalent
