Job Overview:
As an Infrastructure Analyst you'll craft, analyse and provide insights on IT service, operations and systems data. You will help us highlight the great work our Infrastructure teams do in support of Arm colleagues, whilst also highlighting where we can improve our processes.
In addition, you will manage the tools and processes used for reporting, where possible automating the collection and presentation of data, so we can gain insights faster. To do this you'll need the know-how to create reports, automate data flows, and be able to foster a love of data with our teams to drive decisions and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to leverage our existing and new data sets from capacity, performance and availability to highlight areas of strength and opportunity for our infrastructure platforms across Arm.
- Lead the generation of new automated reports using the latest tools.
- Focus on continually improving our data and reporting.
- Lead regular reporting cycles for the IT Infrastructure team.
- Understand and support our colleagues to get insights from our data.
- Develop guidance and standard processes for reporting.
- Drive in the adoption of automation to improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of reporting.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience of creating and managing automated reports within an IT environment.
- Deep knowledge of using and developing reports in Microsoft PowerBI and Excel or other similar platforms.
- Understanding of reporting and integration with key monitoring/reporting platforms such as PRTG, Grafana
- Experience of connecting and automating data from systems & status websites.
- Organised with a good attention to detail and the ability to find issues or new solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication of technical concepts to help colleagues embrace the reporting process.
- Dedicated and self-motivated with good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Genuine curiosity about data, IT technology and reporting.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- IT Infrastructure knowledge including Cloud Services, Data Centres, Engineering Applications, End User Computing, Collaboration and Networks.
- Experience with using ServiceNow ticketing systems and reporting.
- Knowledge of IT Governance practices for incidents, requests and changes.
- Interest in how AI and Automation can drive reporting improvements.
