- Architect cross-platform solutions that run reliably in multiple environments (Linux, Windows, macOS, on-prem, and cloud).
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage, continuous integration, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Proactively evaluate new tools, frameworks, and design approaches, integrating them into SDKs and engineering workflows where appropriate.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are discoverable and consumable across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across hardware and software domains to understand requirements and deliver reusable abstractions that accelerate development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (3.10+) building REST Services with Flask or FastAPI.
- Experience with at least one additional object-oriented language (C++, C#, or Java), with the ability to apply OOP design standards across languages.
- Experience in cross-platform development (e.g., Linux, Windows, macOS; on-prem and cloud).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration.
- Contributions to shared codebases or libraries where consistency, type safety, and OOP patterns were enforced.
- Ability to architect and implement scalable systems that incorporate Web Services, Databases and CLI applications.
