Senior Manager, People Manager Development
About the Role
At Arm, our people are at the heart of our success. We’re looking for an expert and strategic Senior Manager to lead the development of our People Managers and Technical Leaders. This role will craft and shape how managers grow at Arm—designing scalable, high-impact learning experiences and performance strategies that empower managers to succeed, encourage their teams, and drive business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Design & Delivery:
- Partner with team members across the People Group and business to define learning needs and build tailored development programs for People Managers and Technical Leaders across Arm.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve manager development initiatives—blending digital learning pathways, facilitated experiences, and on-the-job tools.
New Manager Development: Build an engaging and practical program to help new managers quickly understand their responsibilities and build confidence in leading people and teams.
Mentoring & Peer Learning: Develop mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives to encourage learning ‘in the flow of work’ and build community across Arm.
Culture of Feedback: Act as a champion for continuous feedback. Partner with business leaders to embed coaching and feedback practices into everyday work at Arm.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on People Manager and Technical Leader development
- Proven success building positive relationships across HR and business functions
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage, challenge, and inspire managers and leaders
- Deep expertise in crafting and implementing scalable manager development solutions
- Hands-on experience managing performance management frameworks and tools
- Experience in global, matrixed organizations
- Ability to manage external vendors and budgets effectively to deliver results
Salary Range:
$166,600-$225,400 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
