Job Overview:
Arm Japan is looking for an experienced Sales / Business Development professional to join our OEM Sales team in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. As a Senior Representative in Strategic Business Development, you will have the outstanding chance to promote the growth of Arm IP and Arm Silicon. This role involves developing business opportunities in growing technology markets like Imaging and Computer Vision, Robotics, and Data Center. You will connect with new customers and ecosystem partners to investigate innovative applications for Arm technology. Your semiconductor industry knowledge, commercial awareness, and deep grasp of customer needs will be key to identifying new opportunities and advancing Arm's future success.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate new business prospects for Arm IP and Arm Silicon within emerging technology sectors.
- Understand customer needs, market trends, technology developments, and the competitive landscape to uncover new opportunities.
- Develop connections with customer decision-makers and ecosystem partners by gaining insight into their product roadmaps, business priorities, and technology strategies.
- Develop customer value propositions and work with technical teams to build solutions that address customer needs.
- Build account strategies and go-to-market plans that convert opportunities into design wins and adoption of Arm technologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Global Sales, and other teams to advance customer opportunities.
- Share market insights, customer priorities, and recommendations with internal teams to support future business growth.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor or related technology industry in Sales, Business Development, Strategic Account Management, Product Marketing, or another customer-facing role.
- Proven experience in building customer relationships and developing business opportunities in technology markets.
- Ability to understand customer requirements, market trends, industry developments, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into business plans.
- Experience interacting with customers and ecosystem partners to identify new markets, applications, or business opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Professional-level Japanese and business-level English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge in Imaging, Computer Vision, Security and Surveillance, AI, or Edge AI.
- Experience with industrial, service, or humanoid robotics.
- Background in ASICs, SoCs, semiconductor solutions, semiconductor IP, or silicon businesses.
- Familiarity with Data Center, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), or ecosystem business development.
