Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Manager to join our global events team. In this role, you will deliver high-impact Arm events and contribute to the planning of exceptional event experiences, bringing strong execution skills and a detail-oriented, collaborative mindset, with a strong focus on driving audience acquisition and engagement. This position is integral to the events team and has primary responsibility for delivering a portfolio of industry tradeshows and Arm-hosted events across China, while supporting major regional and global initiatives. The role oversees end-to-end event execution throughout the year and provides expertise and guidance on event management tools and platforms, ensuring seamless planning, collaboration, and effective audience growth and high-quality attendance across all events.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end delivery of diverse events and multifaceted projects, including industry tradeshows and Arm-hosted events. This includes venue research, space planning, agenda coordination, deco arrangement, logistics, and budget tracking.
  • Own and execute audience acquisition and pre-event promotion efforts, developing and coordinating outreach plans across relevant channels to drive registration, increase event visibility, and ensure strong, high-quality attendance.
  • Manage and support event technology platforms (e.g., event websites, registration pages, Asana follow up and meeting management tools) for both event and marketing teams.
  • Apply best practices in event planning and process management, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all projects.
  • Collaborate within the global team to deliver core elements of large-scale Arm events, including accommodation, catering, shipping, session coordination, and satellite events.
  • Partner with internal Lines of Business (LoB) to execute relevant technology demonstrations at events.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in the independent and collaborative delivery of high profile events and exhibitions.
  • A deep understanding of event delivery within the China market.
  • Proven track record in audience recruitment and experience managing paid media partnerships to drive high-quality attendance and maximize ROI.
  • Demonstrable expertise in professional event operation processes.
  • Exceptional project and time management capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience managing event management software and digital tools. 7. Flexibility to travel to event locations as required, including weekends.

Nice to haves

  • Event management experience within the technology sector.
  • Experience delivering events across APAC, Europe, and North America.
  • A solid understanding of technical demonstrations or the ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly.

In return:

Building on your event experience, you will gain global exposure: working with colleagues and collaborators from around the world, gaining invaluable insights into how Arm shows up at events and providing your professional opinion on how we do this better. This is a unique opportunity to work with a small but valuable team within the business and shape the future of events at Arm! This role provides excellent exposure for professional development and opportunities to grow your industry knowledge.
