Job Overview
Arm is seeking a 'Principal FAE - Edge AI' to support strategic partners in the effective integration of Arm technologies, with a focus on Edge AI. As a senior technical leader within the Sales organization, you will serve as a trusted advisor, combining deep system architecture expertise with technical account leadership to drive design wins, business growth, and long-term partner success.
Working closely with Partner Managers, Product Management, and technical development groups, you will engage with customer architects and technical leaders. You will also influence decision-makers to adopt technology and speed up the development of Arm-based solutions. You will lead complex technical engagements spanning architecture, system development, and deployment while helping customers improve the value of solutions based on Arm.
You will also act as the voice of the customer within Arm. You will provide market insights and technical feedback that help develop product strategy, roadmap decisions, and future solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor for strategic partner accounts, building positive relationships with architects, engineering leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Lead technical engagements that support licensing opportunities, build wins, and successful deployment related to Arm solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer product roadmaps, business objectives, technical requirements, and driven challenges to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide system-level architectural guidance for Arm-based SoCs and platforms, including CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, Compute Subsystems, system IP, software tools, and Edge AI solutions.
- Guide customers in IP selection, configuration, integration, and optimization to meet power, performance, scalability, and time-to-market objectives.
- Support customers from architecture definition and design evaluation through implementation and deployment.
- Drive adoption of Arm technologies through technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and executive-level discussions.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Applications Engineering teams to develop winning technical strategies and ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Lead resolution of complex multi-functional and cross-IP technical challenges by coordinating with Support AE, Arm product and engineering teams.
- Provide customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to influence product strategy, roadmap decisions, and future solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical rigor.
- shown experience in semiconductor, SoC build, applications engineering, system architecture, engineering sales, or related technical roles.
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture, system integration, and hardware/software interactions, including processors, memory subsystems, cache coherency, interconnects, and multi-IP designs.
- Experience with Arm-based systems, encompassing processors such as CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, compute modules, system IP, development tools, and SoC integration methodologies.
- Shown background in Field Applications Engineering, technical consulting, solutions engineering, technical sales, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Experience leading technical discussions involving system architecture, efficiency, speed, scalability, and implementation trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Arm Compute Subsystems (CSS), AI/ML accelerators, graphics technologies, system IP, or advanced SoC architectures.
- Experience developing or supporting Edge AI solutions, including AI/ML workloads on embedded and edge platforms.
- Prior experience in Field Applications Engineering, Technical Marketing, or Technical Sales within the semiconductor industry.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following markets: Edge AI, mobile, consumer, or IoT.
- Familiarity with semiconductor IP licensing models and ecosystem-based solution development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across multiple functions and organizations.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Demonstrated ability to influence architecture decisions, technology adoption, and design wins with customer engineering teams and technical decision-makers.

Salary Range:
$184,500-$249,600 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
