The Arm Developer Marketing Team is a strategic part of Arm’s Marketing organization, driving technical engagements with our developer audience. We are seeking a visionary and results-motivated Director of Developer Marketing to lead our efforts in growing our brand presence within the developer community.

Job Overview:

In this high-impact role, you will shaping and implementing strategies that elevate our developer brand and amplify our developer narratives. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader who understands the unique needs of developers and knows how to craft compelling narratives, key messages and content.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Drive Developer Awareness Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive developer awareness strategies that align with company goals.
  • Define Developer Audience: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key developer personas, segment the audience, and understand the segment's problems, preferences, and motivations.
  • Build and Evolve Developer Narratives: Create a messaging framework driving key themes and narratives that highlights the value of our products, tools and software in solving real-world developer challenges.
  • Develop a Team of Technical Marketers: This role will manage a team of technical marketing managers and evangelists passionate about driving narratives and producing content for Arm developers
  • Assist with Campaign Strategy: Partner with campaigns teams to develop educational, thought leadership, and product-specific content (e.g., blogs, videos, tutorials) that resonates with developers and scales across channels.
  • Product Launch Support: Collaborate with product teams to ensure successful product and feature launches, highlighting technical innovations in ways that matter to developers.
  • Measure and Optimize: Establish key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of developer marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • 8+ years of proven experience in developer marketing or related technical marketing roles
  • Hands-on development or engineering experience in cloud, mobile or AI. Know basic coding, understand an architecture, and can conceptualize developer solutions.
  • Deep understanding of developer personas and communities, with a talent for building authentic relationships.
  • Excellent storytelling and content development skills, with experience crafting narratives that resonate with technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with a breadth of developer tools, frameworks, and platforms
