Job Overview:
This role requires strong program ownership, strategic foresight, and the ability to bring together diverse functions into a unified execution plan. You will own and drive complex SoC programs from concept through production, working closely with engineering leaders and functional Technical Program Managers (TPMs). In this role, you will maintain program rhythm, anticipate and mitigate risks, and ensure smooth execution across architecture, design, software, and operations!
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive SoC programs from concept through production, coordinating all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Develop and lead end-to-end project schedules, tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Collaborate closely with functional TPMs and engineering leads to ensure strong multi-functional alignment and execution.
- Serve as the primary interface across architecture, design, verification, software, validation, and operations teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
- Participate in key design, execution, and readiness reviews; handle scope changes while maintaining focus on critical work.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate program risks early using data-driven insights and structured escalation.
- Drive approval and leadership reviews, providing clear and transparent updates on program status, issues, and trade-offs.
- Manage material readiness, sample allocation, and logistics to support bring-up, validation, and release timelines.
- Collect lessons learned and apply standard processes to continuously improve execution efficiency across programs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of technical program management experience in SoC, ASIC, or processor development, spanning concept through bring-up and productization.
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture and design, including platform-level dependencies and key interfaces.
- Shown experience leading global, multi-functional teams and driving execution across multiple engineering focuses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and fast-paced development cycles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with the ability to drive alignment and decisions without direct authority.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience with datacenter, networking, or consumer SoC platforms.
- Hands-on familiarity with silicon bring-up, validation flows, and manufacturing readiness.
- Experience driving process, quality, or execution improvements across large engineering organizations.
- Background working in highly matrixed, globally distributed development environments.
