Job Overview

Would you like to help deliver software that enables our partners to build energy-efficient products powered by Arm technology?

Join our Central Engineering Machine Learning team in Lund as a Project Manager, where you will lead software projects working with new technology across a wide range of use cases and Arm-powered devices.

We work closely with engineering teams and partners to turn plans into successful software delivery. You will play an important role in bringing people together, creating clarity around priorities and dependencies, and helping our teams deliver effectively.

We are looking for someone with experience managing software projects, ideally within Agile or iterative development environments. You will need strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work across teams, align stakeholders and proactively manage progress, risks and actions.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Own project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting, helping teams maintain clear priorities and deliver against commitments.
  • Work with engineering teams to identify and manage risks, dependencies and change, while ensuring effective project governance.
  • Build strong relationships across Engineering, Business Units, Legal, Operations and other teams to align stakeholders and resolve challenges.
  • Help us continuously improve our project management processes and ways of working.

Required Skills and Experience

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience leading project delivery, preferably software projects within an Agile or iterative development environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating with engineering teams, peers, senior leaders and partners.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities, solve problems and take on new challenges in a fast-moving technology environment.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools, including Atlassian and Microsoft Office tools.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience

You do not need to have experience in everything below. Any of the following would be useful:

  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle and Project or Product Lifecycles.
  • Exposure to Open-Source Software or Machine Learning concepts.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira Cloud, Confluence or Generative AI tools.
  • An engineering background gained within iterative software development and/or structured delivery environments such as hardware, systems or platform development.

In Return

You will have the opportunity to learn about the latest Arm architecture and Machine Learning technologies while working alongside highly skilled engineering teams developing next-generation technology.

We will support you to grow your knowledge and develop your career, while giving you the opportunity to influence how we work. You will join a diverse and supportive community of project and program managers, with the freedom to identify improvements and help us put them into practice.

We want our recruitment process to be accessible and inclusive. If you need reasonable accommodations or support at any stage of the application or interview process, please let us know, and we will work with you to provide the support you need.

Interested in bringing people and technology together to deliver complex software projects? We would love to hear from you.

If skilled worker sponsorship is required, Arm will meet costs associated with sponsorship for the employer only. All fees associated with the individual’s application e.g. visa application fee and Immigration Health Surcharge, will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
