Are you a student looking to enhance your skills and collaborate on your Master Thesis? Arm offers real-world projects to apply your knowledge, boost your development, and advance your future career!
A significant part of Arm’s work in Lund involves developing our Neural Processing Units (NPUs). These processors are designed to run Machine Learning neural networks on edge devices, such as a smartphone or even smaller gadgets. This technology is still in its early stages, with many ideas yet to be explored. We invite you to join us on this journey and contribute through your thesis project!
What you could be doing as a Master Thesis Student?
Below is a list of our current project offerings within Machine Learning Hardware:
- Investigating design mutation for stress-testing of RTL robustness.
- Implementing advanced logging for efficient PPA analysis and debug of complex systems.
- Investigating formal methods for RTL verification related to security or floating-point arithmetic.
If you have your own project idea or can’t find what you’re looking for, please upload your proposal with as much detail and information as possible when applying.
We are looking for individuals who:
Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Masters Degree.
- Experience with hardware design described and the use of Verilog or VHDL.
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Neural Networks.
- Professional working proficiency in the English language.
- Affiliated with a Swedish university/college either directly or via an exchange program.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- A keen interest in Machine Learning and software development.
- Passion for learning and creative problem-solving.
