Job Overview:
As a Principal Quality and Reliability Engineer at ARM, you will ensure the high standards and reliability of our products. Your responsibilities include developing quality control processes, conducting reliability tests, and performing failure analysis. You will collaborate with suppliers and multi-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Develop and implement robust quality control processes to ensure semiconductor products meet exacting standards.
- Reliability Testing: Design and complete comprehensive reliability testing plans to validate product performance under various conditions.
- Failure Analysis: Conduct detailed failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Supplier Quality Engineering: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they align with our quality ans reliability engineering requirements. Represent SQE in supplier audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality and reliability processes, test results, and corrective actions.
- multi-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to address quality and reliability issues.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor quality and reliability engineering.
- Solid understanding of quality control methodologies and reliability testing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and cooperate with multi-functional teams.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience with advanced silicon process technology: 2nm, 3nm
- Experience with advanced package qualification: 3D, 2.5D, MCM
- Knowledge of industry-standard JEDEC, Mil-spec, Automotive, IPC
