Arm sits at the forefront of some of the most significant changes taking place across computing and AI. This role offers an opportunity to help shape how Arm explores that rapidly evolving technology landscape: identifying emerging technologies and companies, developing investment hypotheses, and helping direct where we build relationships, partnerships and make strategic investments.
Working within Strategic Ventures and across Arm’s technology and business teams, you will explore technologies at an early stage and develop a view of where they could create future strategic and commercial value. We are looking for someone who can bring new perspectives, challenge established thinking and look beyond obvious extensions of what Arm does today.
For someone with a strong technical background, this is an opportunity to build on that expertise while developing broader strategic, commercial and investment experience.
Develop clear recommendations on where Arm should investigate further, build relationships, partner, invest or continue to monitor.
Build relationships with founders, technology leaders, investors, academics and others across emerging technology ecosystems.
Required Skills and Experience:
A strong technical foundation in an area relevant to the future of computing, such as semiconductors, computer systems, AI, networking, software or another deep-technology field.
"Nice to Have" Skills and Experience:
Previous venture investment experience is not required. Relevant additional experience could include:
Technology or product strategy, strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development or venture investing.
This role offers the opportunity to explore technologies that could shape the future of computing, with access to Arm’s deep technical expertise and extensive industry ecosystem.
You will work with technical leaders, founders and investors at the forefront of emerging technology, while developing the ability to move from understanding how technology works to forming a view on why it matters, where it could lead and whether Arm should act.

Use of AI in Your Application
At Arm, we embrace the benefits AI can bring, including in recruitment. You may use AI to support your preparation, such as improving the clarity of written responses, practicing interview questions, or learning more about our industry. However, your application and interview responses must reflect your own thinking, experience, and abilities. We want to understand your authentic perspective, creativity, and approach to problem solving. As such, you may not use AI to complete assigned tasks as part of any assessments. If you plan to use AI-supported or assistive technologies as part of a reasonable adjustment, please contact accommodations@arm.com so we can support you.

All accommodation or adjustment requests will be treated with confidentiality, and information concerning these requests will only be disclosed as necessary to provide the accommodation. Arm’s approach to hybrid working is designed to create a working environment that supports both high performance and personal wellbeing. We believe in bringing people together face to face to enable us to work at pace, whilst recognizing the value of flexibility. Within that framework, we empower groups/teams to determine their own hybrid working patterns, depending on the work and the team’s needs. Details of what this means for each role will be shared upon application. In some cases, the flexibility we can offer is limited by local legal, regulatory, tax, or other considerations, and where this is the case, we will collaborate with you to find the best solution. Please talk to us to find out more about what this could look like for you.
