Job Overview:
Responsible for the day-to-day support of accountable security technology and maintaining / improving effective response to Security Technology Operations processes and services.
Responsibilities:
• Strong in-depth technical knowledge of SIEM technology, including how to ingest and run a SIEM.
• Working knowledge of EDR, AV, DLP, Network security, email security and VPN solutions.
• Providing security solutions on the technology of expertise.
• Be responsible to manage and maintain SLAs for Incidents, Requests and Changes raised via ServiceNow.
• Ensure that fundamental information on accountable technology is accurate (e.g. KB Articles / process maps / training documents and presentations / RACI / Contract information).
• Identify and raise risks, threats and vulnerabilities of accountable security technology. Handling risks to conclusion where possible.
• Carry out testing of accountable technology with senior management supervision.
• Identify, propose and drive low level security enhancements of any technology handled by STO. Contributing to service/technology change as directed by G5 and above.
• Identify problems that cause negative impact to Arm or the team and help to create solutions.
• Develops tactical and trusted relationships within customers, partner and vendors (e.g., Networks/Platforms/Wider Ent. Security), while supporting with vendor management.
• The role has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will handle (on rotation) the teams tickets via daily huddles.
• Provide on-the-job training and peer review to team members.
• Feed recommendations into strategic plans for the technology of their expertise.

• Able to independently solve straightforward problems by investigating fully and provide recommended solutions for more sophisticated problems.
• A driven demeanour will thrive at Arm. Proactive mentality is a must.
• Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively within the STO team, customers and vendors at a tactical level.
• Influencing the security agenda across Enterprise IT.
• Ability to produce written and numeric material to a high standard, with a superb attention to detail and accuracy
• Agile, self-starter and can prioritize quickly and effectively. Contributes through the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the tasks/services provided by self, and quality control of work provided by others.
• Makes good judgement decisions using information and based on training and prior experience.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
• Experience working in a security role focussed on technical controls, services and procedures.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of the variety of technical security control concepts, procedures and systems (e.g., Email Security, AV, EDR, Firewalls).
• Security qualifications beneficial but not crucial! i.e., CISSP, CISM.
• Good familiarity with other Enterprise Security organization (can identify which team fulfils which roles) and a Solid understanding of ITIL processes.
• Awareness of project management techniques, while having the ability to handle and chair meetings when required.
