Job Overview:

Enterprise Security is looking for a Security Project Manager to join the Security Transformation & Performance team!

This role sits at the heart of how security transformation is delivered at Arm. Working across diverse teams, the successful candidate will lead initiatives that strengthen security posture, improve operational effectiveness, and support the future of secure computing.

Responsibilities:

You will lead security initiatives from early planning through to delivery, helping define outcomes, build delivery plans, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure progress across multiple teams and priorities.

Collaboration is central to the role. Working closely with security specialists, IT teams, and internal and external partners, the role requires building strong relationships, maintaining alignment, and supporting successful delivery outcomes. A proactive approach to identifying risks, handling issues, and navigating complexity will help maintain momentum across initiatives.

The role involves balancing timelines, budgets, dependencies, and delivery priorities across multiple workstreams while ensuring alignment with Arm’s broader security strategy and transformation goals.

We’re more interested in how someone leads, collaborates, and approaches problem-solving than in ticking every box.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve and ambiguity exists. A proactive mindset, clear communication style, and the ability to build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams are important to success in the role.

Confidence managing competing priorities and delivery challenges is essential, alongside the ability to keep teams focused on outcomes. Strong candidates ask thoughtful questions, challenge constructively where needed, and work collaboratively to find practical solutions.

Experience delivering complex security or technology initiatives across multiple stakeholders, teams, and dependencies will also be important.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience leading security transformation, remediation, or operational improvement programmes within complex enterprise environments
  • Solid understanding of recognised security and risk frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls, and how they apply in practical delivery environments
  • Experience delivering security improvement initiatives such as vulnerability remediation, compliance uplift, control enhancement, security maturity programmes, or risk reduction activities
  • Strong project governance and delivery management skills, including risk, issue, dependency, budget, and milestone management, alongside clear stakeholder reporting and communication
  • Experience working in environments with regulatory, audit, compliance, or enterprise risk management requirements
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies, and experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence to support planning and delivery visibility
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives across globally distributed teams within large, matrixed organisations
  • Ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and align technical and business teams around shared objectives

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Exposure to complex technology environments, such as semiconductor, engineering, cloud, or other advanced technology industries, would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with enterprise security technologies, platforms, or operational processes is helpful but not essential
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are advantageous but not required

Growth and opportunity

This role is designed to grow over time. As context, relationships, and experience develop, there will be opportunities to take on greater ownership and play an increasingly important role in shaping how security transformation is delivered at Arm.

In time, the role will become a trusted partner within the team, helping influence priorities, improve delivery consistency, and support broader security transformation initiatives across the organisation.

In Return:

This is an opportunity to work on meaningful security transformation at a time when Arm is evolving rapidly and shaping the future of computing. Arm technology powers billions of devices worldwide, and this role will contribute to protecting what comes next.

The position offers exposure to a wide range of teams, technologies, and ways of working across the business, alongside continued development in an environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
