We’re looking for an experienced SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Lead to guide the delivery of SAP SD, GTS, and EMS solutions across global business initiatives. You’ll lead a functional team, drive Order-to-Cash process improvements, and ensure systems align with business goals.
This role requires deep SAP SD expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to lead complex projects and stakeholders in a global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP SD, GTS, and EMS functional team, running delivery, support, and enhancements.
- Influence senior stakeholders and champion adoption of SAP solutions, bringing to bear its core capabilities and advising new features that would directly benefit supported business.
- Act as the go-to authority for SAP SD across global and regional projects.
- Translate business needs into scalable SAP SD solutions.
- Design and implement SD processes for subscription-based models.
- Work with teams across the business to build integrated solutions.
- Optimise the Order-to-Cash process using SAP standard methodologies.
- Oversee full project lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, training, launch, and support.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance and alignment with business strategy.
- Support post-launch stabilisation and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on SAP SD experience, with multiple full-cycle implementations as lead.
- Solid understanding of core SD areas: Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, ATP, Credit Management, Intercompany Sales.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD, especially Sales Order Management and Solid understanding of SAP MM, FI/CO, Ariba, and logistics integration.
- Exposure to SAP VC, CPQ, EMS, RAR, and Fiori apps.
- Develop and mentor team members and key business users, providing coaching where necessary. Strong leadership and influencing skills, able to act swiftly with confidence.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience with SAP GTS, EDI/IDocs, and S/4HANA 2023.
- Expertise in writing functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams on custom developments.
- Knowledge of third-party integrations!
- Global implementation experience in manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods.
- SAP SD certification.
- Agile/Scrum experience!
