Job Overview:
This role sits within the Arm Portfolio and Product Planning team under the Operations organisation and is responsible for the definition and delivery of our internal portfolio tools. The role owner is also a key player in the day-to-day enablement and management of Arm wide products roadmaps and investments.
The role ensures continuity of execution across roadmaps and solutions portfolio operations, application releases, and business reporting, operating within the existing Portfolio Planning framework and strategic roadmap. You will operate at the intersection of Portfolio Planning, Engineering, Finance, and Business Units, acting as the key operational bridge to ensure priorities are structured, sequenced and delivered effectively.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring excellent judgement, confidence and the ability to translate complex business requirements into structured execution.
In this role you will shape new portfolio management capabilities for Arm while being directly involved in the roadmaps and products that makes AI runs on Arm!
Responsibilities:
You will act as Product Owner for the internal portfolio application, translating business needs into requirements pipeline and ensuring alignment between business needs and development delivery. Working closely with the development team, you will structure and prioritise deliveries, clarify scope and trade-offs, and ensure releases are delivered with clear validation, and communication. You will drive adoption across functions to ensure that Arm wide portfolio is meeting our strategy.
In parallel, you will lead core portfolio business-as-usual activities, providing guidance to the business, analysing our portfolio, supporting quarterly portfolio reviews through data preparation, analysis, and insight development, and support roadmap publication activities and reporting cadence. You will analyse portfolio data to highlight inconsistencies, risks or emerging themes, ensuring transparency and operational rigour across reporting cycles. You will identify gaps in reporting or process flow and coordinate practical resolution.
You will engage confidently with people across the organisation, gathering and structuring requirements, assessing relative priority across business impact and operational urgency, and facilitating alignment across teams. Where trade-offs arise, you will make recommendations and call out conflicting priorities where appropriate to Portfolio Planning leadership.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business/Management, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Requirements Lead in a systems or application delivery context.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience working with engineering, finance, operational, or portfolio data.
- Working familiarity with reporting and insights tools such as Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Ability to translate complex discussions into structured requirements and clear delivery plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and spoken English) and confidence working with cross-functional team members.
- Self-starter with excellent judgement and practical problem-solving skills.
This role is perfect for a seasoned product manager looking to take a portfolio and strategic view of the business or a business analyst wanting to be closer to products and roadmaps; a semiconductor background is recommended.
