Job Overview:
We are looking for a warm, approachable, and customer-focused Front of House Receptionist to create an outstanding first impression for our guests and visitors. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service within a busy office environment, ensuring that colleagues and guests feel welcome and supported throughout their visit. As a key member of our Workplace Front of House team, you will act as the first point of contact for leading figures in technology, business, and policy, your impact will be immediate and visible. Additionally, you will be a prominent presence on the Cambridge Campus, supporting events, welcoming guests, and fostering a vibrant, connected culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for all visitors and employees
- Support staff and visitors with taxi bookings
- Support the Workplace team with admin tasks including auditing and ordering office supplies, liaising with colleagues on room bookings, signing in visitors, log SNOW requests, and a variety of ad-hoc tasks.
- Maintain visitor records, issue passes, and ensure compliance with security procedures.
- Support Post Room Team as required
- Manage the reception desk and shared inbox
- Respond promptly and efficiently to customer enquiries
- Assist with staff onboarding and general office coordination
- Support any onsite events
- Monitor meeting rooms for set up and cleanliness
- Monitor internal communications tools for Workplace related activities and triage
- Be on the constant lookout for opportunities to create excellent customer interaction
- Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling, document preparation, and data entry.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, corporate front-of-house, or office support role.
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to deliver a consistent level of exceptional customer service in a variety of situations.
- Adaptable and flexible
- Accommodating and conscientious
- Able to work unsupervised at times
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanour.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Confident using MS Office Suite, Outlook, and office management systems.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach.
