Financial Accountant - Head Office Finance
Job Overview:
Want to take your accounting career to the next level? Join the head office finance team of a NASDAQ-listed multinational and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely financials for the largest company in the Arm group. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role at the heart of our UK reporting team.
Responsibilities:
- Own accounting and financial reporting for Arm Ireland Ltd and EDA
- Prepare group-wide calculations including payroll accruals and share-based compensation journals
- Deliver insightful financial analysis - spotting, investigating, and resolving variances
- Act as main contact for external audits, ensuring smooth, timely processes
- Support ad-hoc reporting, including national statistics, surveys, and requests from Tax and Finance Business Partners
- Anticipate and resolve issues in systems, services, and processes
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Strong transactional accounting experience with sharp attention to detail
- Passion for using technology to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial close
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- IFRS and US GAAP knowledge
- Experience with SAP S4 Hana
