Job Overview:

This is an exciting role as the Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Cambridge Site lead for Arm, you would be responsible for providing Administrative support and owning the smooth daily operations for the CIO and their Leadership team. This role is a strategic partner to the CIO, handling a wide range of executive support tasks, handling sensitive information, and facilitating communication between the CIO and internal and external partners. You will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and how its used in this role and be a champion for this across Arm and exercise extremely creative capabilities for the best outcomes.

Due to the nature of this role, there is a requirement to be in the Cambridge office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Calendar & Schedule Management: Efficiently organise the CIO’s schedule, including meetings, travel arrangements, and key events. Prioritise and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively.
  • Communication & Correspondence: Handle sensitive business and personal matters with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Meeting Prep & Coordination: Prepare agendas, materials, and reports. Take and distribute minutes. Track IT initiatives, follow up on actions, and ensure timely completion.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, itineraries, and expense reporting.
  • Document Management: Draft, proofread, and edit reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Technology & Systems Support: Leverage internal IT tools and systems to streamline processes, handle data, and support CIO-led initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with senior leaders, board members, vendors, and external partners on behalf of the CIO.
  • Office Administration: Support IT operations, event planning, and administrative duties for Cambridge Campus and CIO events.
  • Site creation and ownership for CIO SharePoint site and collateral relating to IT.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-suite executives in a technology environment with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Exceptional organisational, creative and time management skills including experience coordinating complex travel and expense reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience of IT tools like project management software (Asana, Trello, Jira) and collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom) utilising good communication skills with superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgement, and adapt to changing priorities in an incredibly fast-paced environment requiring strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate needs proactively.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a technology-focused company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT terminology and processes!
  • Previous experience supporting CIOs or other technology leaders!
