The position reports to the EMEA Team Lead. The position has working relationships with, but not limited to: Global Events Team, Product Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Business Line Groups, IT, as well as external service providers.

You will be responsible for supporting the events team in a variety of projects including industry trade shows, Arm hosted events and managing event technology systems. Working as part of a team to showcase Arm in the best light at all events.

Responsibilities:

- Booking stand space, processing invoices and being POC for show organisers.

- Working with wider departments within marketing and outside to plan stands/events and our show presence, as well as organising passes, logistics, staff logistics, catering and onsite execution.

- Working with external creative agencies to deliver stand/event space both pre-show and onsite.

- Delivering smaller Arm events as a whole including venue finding, logistics, agendas, invites, registration and onsite delivery.

- Working within the team to deliver whole elements of larger Arm run events these could include accommodation, meeting booking systems, invites, event websites, catering, logistics, shipping, leading on specific sessions, social events, registration and any smaller satellite events.

- Event communications – both pre and post event.

- Keeping real time budgets throughout the event planning and reconciliation post event.

- Ensuring planning decks are up to date.

- Onsite attendance at events and tradeshows.

- Processing contracts, raising POs, working with vendors to access the best rates, and working with our procurement team to process these.

- Assist in handling suppliers and other contributors through effective project management of assigned tasks on schedule and within budget.

- Experience of event technology would be beneficial, training will be provided in our systems, as this role will involve:

- Creating and owning event websites
- Building/running event registration sites
- Using online meeting booking tools, hosting events within this system
- Running event software and registration on site

- Demonstrate knowledge of event planning processes
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding project and time management skills
- Proactive and creative thinker, problem solver
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Consultative approach to questions, concerns and issues
- Great teammate but able to work with minimum supervision
- Willingness to help wherever needed and pick up and complete tasks quickly and efficiently

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

- Experience of working in an events team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; experience developing strong working relationships
- Ability to interface seamlessly with a global, diverse team (excellent collaboration skills, culturally sensitive, can adjusts communication style to various audiences, flexibility to time zones for team calls)
- Ability to travel to event location as the need arises, even on weekends, specific to each program assigned
