Job Overview:

The Digital Product Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining digital products, applications, AI enabled solutions and intelligent automations that enhance the People experience and extend the organisation's enterprise technology ecosystem. 

Working alongside Product Managers, Senior Product Managers and the Senior Innovation & Experience Manager, the role transforms ideas into practical digital solutions by building lightweight applications, AI agents, integrations and user experiences that improve productivity, simplify processes and solve business problems. 

The Digital Product Developer combines technical expertise with product thinking, ensuring every solution is secure, scalable, maintainable and designed around the needs of the people who use it.
To accelerate innovation by rapidly designing, building and continuously improving digital products that enhance our enterprise SaaS platforms, enabling the People Experience & Products function to deliver differentiated experiences through technology, AI and intelligent automation in full partnership with our Enterprise IT community. 

The role ensures technology is used creatively and responsibly to solve real business problems while maintaining high standards of quality, governance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain digital products that enhance the People experience.
  • Build AI-enabled applications, agents and workflow solutions.
  • Create integrations across enterprise platforms and systems.
  • Support the full product lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, feedback and experimentation.
  • Prototype emerging technologies and AI capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience developing digital products, enterprise applications or business solutions.
  • Strong programming experience with modern languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C# or .NET.
  • Experience designing and integrating APIs, enterprise services and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong web application development skills using modern frameworks and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

Salary Range:

£51,900 - £70,200 per year
