This role will drive Arm’s global efforts to reduce carbon emissions, improve climate resilience across operations and the supply chain, and embed environmental responsibility into our technology and business practices.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in climate leadership, a strong grasp of environmental science and policy, and the ability to collaborate across functions, influence partners, and translate strategy into measurable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of carbon measurement, reporting, and disclosure (Scopes 1–3) in line with SBTi, TCFD, and CDP frameworks.
  • Assess and manage climate-related risks to enhance business resilience.
  • Partner with internal teams, industry peers, and regulators to advance climate action across the semiconductor ecosystem.
  • Represent Arm in climate-related forums, partnerships, and industry collaborations.
  • Track emerging policies, technologies, and trends to inform strategy and maintain leadership in sustainable innovation.
  • Report on progress toward climate goals and key sustainability metrics.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Policy, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in climate strategy, corporate sustainability, or environmental management, ideally within a global technology or manufacturing context.
  • Proven expertise in carbon accounting, lifecycle assessment, and science-based target methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of climate frameworks (e.g., SBTi, TCFD, CDP) and ESG reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable environmental outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and partner management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Leverage emerging technologies and advanced analytics to generate insights that inform climate strategy and business decision-making.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working with global supply chains and technology ecosystems - particularly those that are relevant to our customers, including chip design and manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with sustainability challenges and opportunities in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
  • Advanced certification in sustainability or climate leadership (e.g., GHG Management, ISO 14001, LEED).
